I have slacked on posting pictures for my blogs. This month I have struggled on what to write about because it has been difficult and ministry continues to be VBS at different locations. My team and I took a night bus to Victoria Falls on Sunday night. We enjoyed God’s art work and four decided to jump off a bridge..I was one of them. Enjoy the pictures.
We were the second group in the park on Monday morning. Got to see the amazing sunrise at 6:40am.
The main falls. This was taken in the afternoon as we went back to get the mid-day view too.
I saw many rainbows through out the day.
That double rainbow though.
I had many “Wow God, you made this” moments. It was amazing to just sit and hear the roar of the falls.
The dangerous point at Vic Falls. The mist of the falls felt like it was raining as it drenched you.
Bungee jumping at the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. This is the 15th tallest bungee jump in the world at a total of 111 meters.
Alexis said “For the Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control…to jump off a bridge.”
She basically sold me at that. My philosophy is if I were to die bungee jumping at one of the seven wonders of the world while on a mission trip, its a pretty good story.
Update: We leave for Haiti on Thursday which will be filled with 5 days of travel. We have a 15 hour layover in NYC. There is three things I will be getting while in America.
1. Ben and Jerry’s ice cream for Emily’s birthday.
2. Crest Toothpaste.
3. Bob Goff’s new book.
Priorities you know!!
I would love prayers as we travel and head to Haiti for month 10 of our race!!! It is quickly coming to an end which both scares me but also I am beyond excited to be home with friends and family.
