Parent Vision Trip
A week where your parents are able to visit you on the field. They are able to do ministry with you and spend a lot of quality time together.
The day my dad and step mom arrived I was so nervous to see them. 8 months without seeing them. Bringing them into my new life and sharing my world race family was exciting but scary. I cried before they came because I did not know what to expect.
Now a week later I could not have asked for a better experience with them. For two days we were in life skills classes working with young adults who wanted to be employed.
We had the opportunity to go on a safari together, evangelize in a mall and spend time just catching up on the last 8 months.
The day my parents left I had the opportunity to process events. I went through areas I had walked out of. Ways I saw the Lord move within the week and how much my identity has become within what the Lord has to say rather than the affirmation my parents give me. I feel extremely rejuvenated and ready for the next three months of ministry experiencing this race and all the Lord has for me.

Being with all of the racers was such a treat!! Thanks for saying yes to Jesus AND trusting us parents!! I have no doubt that we all LOVED being with you!!
It was soooo great meeting you, spending a week with you and spending time with your family. You and your team are amazing, and it was definitely one of the best experiences in my entire. Knowing Bethany is hanging with you for the next three months gives me a comfort beyond all understanding. Love you much!!!!
