During women’s time at debrief we wrote eachother testimonies in ways we have grown in the last 8 months. Here’s mine written by Heather who I have been on a team with the entire race. She’s got a lot of love to share. This month already I have felt unworthy and unloved. I had a dream last night and it brought back identity issues that I have walked out of and have found my real identity as a daughter in Christ. This testimony is carefully placed in my journal and helped me in my quiet time this morning.

Brit,

When I prayed about what God has done in your life over the last 8 months I got 1st Corinthians 13:4-8

Brit is patient
The Lord has made you such a patient person, opening your eyes to others feelings and thoughts.

Brit is kind
He has multiplied kindness.

Brit is not proud.

Brit does not dishonor others
God has taught you how to honor others even when they are not organized or being on time.

Brit is not self seeking
You have poured yourself our selflessly to both teams you have lead.

Britt is not easily angered.

Brit keeps no records of wrongs.
God has taught you how to beautifully forgive just as He does.

Brit rejoices in truth.
Your joy has grown so much and the Lord had showed you how to rejoice so much in the truth of the way He made you and sees you as a beautiful pure daughter of the King.

Brit protects.
You protect our team and fight for our hearts. God has grown you into such an amazing Godly leader.

Brit trusts, hopes and preservers.
God has taught you to wait on Him and trust that He has good things for you. You are a shining example of trusting the Lord.

He has showed you how to fix your eyes, not on the seen, but the unseen.

His love has never failed you ad it never will.
