This last week I had the opportunity to serve and spend time with Team Agape. We went to the school to paint, we attended a girls home and most days we worked with a missionary family that does a little bit of everything here. They own Hope For Life which is an amazing organization that is helping young mothers, new mothers and single mothers to learn how to parent, create a relationship with Christ and give them basic necessities such as diapers, wipes, and clothing. While I was there I felt like the Lords favorite being back in the social work realm of things.

You can usually find Team Agape laughing and finding joy in the little things. They love serving and taking pictures of everything. This team is young but spiritually mature and the Lord has given them a variety of amazing life stories that help them relate to so many people.

Karlie- She is the team leader for Agape. She is usually living in the present and soaking in the moments. She loves photography and calligraphy. Karlie asks very intentional questions and always know when something is wrong. A fruit of the spirit that she easily portrays is her joy. She is so optimistic and always looks for the good.

Ashley- She is our squad worship coordinator. She has been gifted with prophecy and speaking life into people. Ash takes popcorn to the next level with her skills. Her heart is full of thankfulness and is always calling you out for the little things. She knows what people love and serves them in that way. Ash walks heavily in her faithfulness. She is so faithful to the Lord and knows that He truly is so good no matter what. She is faithful to her sisters and will call you higher if you are not looking like Jesus or not being loyal.

Marissa- She is head of our Party Planning Committee because she truly is the life of the party. She screams extrovert and continuously gives to others. Riss loves cooking and I love eating so its a perfect dynamic really. You can usually find her making memes or giving herself feedback. She is hungry for growth and walks in patience. She is patient to understand others and see where they are coming from but always holds true to the bible.

Meagan- This sweet girl is the storyteller for this team. She has a passion for videography and is so talented. She is quiet but is learning to speak up because she has so much to give her team. She walks in kindness everyday. Loving those around her, speaking words of encouragement and making sure that she never acts out of frustration. You can usually find her on her computer editing videos, pictures and will go deep with you on a one on one.

Hailey- Hales is the treasurer for Team Agape. Her heart screams servant. She is eager to serve the locals but also her team and ministry host. If there is a need she will find a way to fill it. She loves working out and peanut butter. A fruit of the spirit I see in her is her goodness. She strives to be good and do good. She is obedient when the Lord calls her to do hard things and she takes tough feedback like a champ because she wants to be good. She also calls the people around her to be good by challenging them.

Denae- She is the eldest on this team and she has so much wisdom to give. When she speaks people listen and she creates a safe place for others. Her laugh is contagious and she gives THE BEST hugs. She carries a lot of gentleness in her heart. When she speaks it is always gentle but holds authority. Her gentleness screams a mother heart and she truly lives out: Life is Ministry. Ministry is Life.

Agape, what a joy it was to be with y’all. I saw Jesus in a new way by the celebration you have created on your team. Celebrating the days that were difficult. Celebrating spiritual warfare that was combatted. Celebrating the easy, fun ministry days and random rides in the back of the truck. Celebration is a theme on your team and its truly beautiful.

Updates: I leave for Caye Caulker in the morning where our squad will have their first debrief.

I am 1,500 dollars away from being fully funded. November 4th, 2018 is two years that I have been on a fundraising journey with AIM for both my world race and now squad leading. The Lord has blessed me and showed up in crazy ways. I would love to be fully funded on my anniversary and putting my total amount raised at 24,500!

Please prayerfully consider donating with your tithes.
